Navan Nitro Nuts
Navan Nitro Nuts (NNN) is a dedicated remote control (RC) model car club based in Navan, County Meath. The club brings together enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels who share a passion for high-speed, precision racing on a miniature scale. With regular meets, practice sessions, and competitive events held throughout the year, Navan Nitro Nuts has become a vibrant hub for the local RC racing community. From electric buggies to nitro-powered speedsters, members take pride in fine-tuning their cars for peak performance on the track.
As part of their ongoing growth and community engagement, the club requested a new logo that encapsulates the excitement and dynamic nature of RC racing. The design visually conveys speed and motion, with key motor racing elements, such as a chequered flag—symbolising the thrill of crossing the finish line—and a corner apex, reflecting the technical skill required in racing. These elements are meant not only to highlight the sport's competitive aspect but also to pay homage to the real-world racing traditions that inspire the RC racing scene.

Branded banners were designed to enhance public visibility and promote the club during race weekends. Strategically positioned at key locations around the track, these banners serve to attract attention, generate interest, and reinforce the club's presence within the model car racing community.
Event posters display movement, speed and precision, showcasing the dynamic conditions that these miniature machines can endure. The club's brand assets are incorporated into the designs, flexible and easily applicable to many applications, being visually cohesive across all brand touchpoints.
The logo design solution conveys speed and motion, merging key motor racing associations such as a chequered flag and a corner apex to form an abstract lowercase "n". The club proudly wears its colours, Green and Gold, chosen with purpose to represent the club’s origins and character. Green and Gold symbolise the counties of Meath and Donegal, respectively, honouring the heritage of the club’s founding members, reflecting the unity and shared ambition that brought the club to life. In addition, the NNN logo and paced typography are intentionally angled at 70° to convey a sense of speed, action, and forward momentum—qualities. The logo is intended to serve a wide range of applications, both digital and print. It will be prominently featured across the club's social media platforms and official website, helping to strengthen brand identity and attract new members.
